Ambassador Otto F. von Feigenblatt is an academician of the Royal Academy of Doctors of Spain, the Royal Academy of Economics and Financial Sciences of Spain, and the Royal Spanish Academy of the Sea. He was knighted by King Phillip VI of Spain with the Royal Order of Isabella the Catholic for his contributions to the social sciences and to the study of leadership in Spain and in Latin America. Ambassador von Feigenblatt's research is interdisciplinary and he holds multiple earned doctorates and has received more than ten honorary doctorates for his research and service. His research focuses on the nexus between management and international development with a focus on applied anthropology.He is currently serving as AMBASSADOR and Deputy Permanent Observer to the United Nations for the OIJ. In November 2023 he was appointed adviser for education with ambassatorial rank by the Secretary General of the Andean Parliament.

Affinity: The Household’s affinity includes persons who support its activities. Members of the affinity are members of the extended household and therefore are invited to participate in a wide range of activities organized in several countries. Distinguished retainers are supporters who have distinguished themselves in their fields and who enjoy a close relationship with the head of the house. Other members of the affinity include participants in the Interuniversity Lecture Series, one of the central projects of the Household. The House also sponsors two peer-reviewed academic journals, the Journal of Alternative Perspectives in the Social Sciences and the Journal of Asia Pacific Studies.
