Affinity

The Household’s affinity includes persons who support its activities. Members of the affinity are members of the extended household and therefore are invited to participate in a wide range of activities organized in several countries. Distinguished retainers are supporters who have distinguished themselves in their fields and who enjoy a close relationship with the head of the house. Other members of the affinity include participants in the Baron of Braemar Interuniversity Lecture Series, one of the central projects of the Household. The House also sponsors two peer-reviewed academic journals, the Journal of Alternative Perspectives in the Social Sciences and the Journal of Asia Pacific Studies. Both journals are indexed and catalogued by EBSCO.
