Barony of Braemar signs agreement with the Archdiocese of Guayaquil: Education, Values and Teacher Training

Guayaquil, Ecuador – Wednesday, March 25, 2026

In a solemn ceremony that was attended by His Eminence Cardinal Luis Gerardo Cabrera Herrera, OFM, Archbishop of Guayaquil, the Barony of Braemar represented by The Much Honoured Ambassador Otto Federico von Feigenblatt of Braemar, Baron of Braemar, signed a cooperation agreement aimed at strengthening the educational system linked to the Network of Educational Institutions of the Catholic Church in Ecuador.
The agreement includes a series of key initiatives that will be promoted, among others:
Training and continuing education programs for teachers
Access to master's and doctoral programmes in collaboration with international universities
Implementation of English language teaching programs, taught by the Barony of Braemar through the Baronial Academy of Braemar
This agreement seeks to raise educational standards through the professionalization of the teaching staff and the strengthening of key competencies for the 21st century, particularly in a globalized context where English proficiency and advanced academic training are fundamental.
