PANAMA CITY, PANAMA — June 26, 2026 — The Baron of Braemar has officially entered into a strategic articulation agreement with the Institute for the Training and Management of Human Resources (IFARHU) of Panama. Signed on June 26, this high-level partnership represents a foundational step in enhancing bilateral cooperation with the Government of Panama, focusing on public sector capacity building, sustainable economic development, and international educational exchange.
Under the terms of the landmark agreement, a specialized, comprehensive training program will be delivered to 500 Panamanian civil servants. The curriculum is specifically designed to address the field of sustainable tourism, aligning with Panama's national environmental goals and its Sustainable Tourism Master Plan. By equipping public sector professionals with cutting-edge strategies in eco-friendly growth, community empowerment, and biodiversity conservation, the initiative aims to fortify Panama’s position as a global leader in responsible travel.
The official signing ceremony was hosted at the IFARHU Headquarters in Panama City. The event was held in the distinguished presence of the Secretary General, underscoring the political and developmental weight both parties place on this joint venture.
