STIRLING, SCOTLAND — March 29, 2026 — The Barony of Braemar and the Stirling Centre for Strategic Learning and Innovation (SCSLI) are pleased to announce the commencement of a high-level strategic partnership aimed at fostering international education and cross-continental academic synergy. This collaboration marks a significant milestone in strengthening the educational corridor between the United Kingdom and the academic institutions of Central and South America.

Representing the Much Honoured Ambassador Otto Federico von Feigenblatt of Braemar, Baron of Braemar, Chief of Staff Raquel Grünauer Espinoza met with Professor Dr. Alaa Garad, Founding Partner of the Stirling Centre, to deliberate on the expansion of Scotland’s role as a global nexus for scholarly exchange.

The central objective of this partnership is the establishment of a dedicated hub within Scotland to serve as a primary gateway for Latin American universities seeking to engage with the British higher education sector. By leveraging the Barony’s established diplomatic presence and the Stirling Centre’s expertise in strategic innovation, the initiative seeks to promote Scottish academic excellence to an international audience.
