Third Magistral Session of the House of Feigenblatt held at the National Assembly of Ecuador (25 November, 2025)

The Third Magistral Session of the House of Feigenblatt was held on the 25th of November at the National Assembly of Ecuador. Chaired by the Much Honoured Ambassador Otto Federico von Feigenblatt of Braemar, Baron of Braemar and Andean Parliament Special Envoy for Education, the event included speakers from both the private and the public sectors. The Session focused on exploring the nexus between Artificial Intelligence and Leadership.

Ms. Raquel Grunauer, Chief of Staff, and Miguel Angel Alava, chamberlain of the House of Feigenblatt, served as coordinators for the event. Keynote speakers included Professor Chris Brown, Collar Member of the House and Head of the School of Education of the University of Southampton, who delivered a powerful lecture dealing with the importance of developing cognitive abilities among youth so that they can be succesful in an environment of misinformation. Lord Braemar's lecture dealt with the challenges brought about by Artificial Intelligence as the socio-economic level and encouraged a balanced approach to changes with a focus on protecting livelihoods and enabling human resources to adapt to the changes.
The main panel discussion explored the topic of Artificial Intelligence and Education from a wide variety of perspecives. Panelists included: Dr. Hernan Olano Garcia, Dr. Rosangela Otero Diaz, Mr. Miguel Angel Falconi, Nidia Johana Robles Villabona, and Professor Chris Brown. The main panel was facilitated by Lord Braemar and it explored the main challenges as perceived by a wide range of disciplines.

This important event also included the welcoming of new collar members to the House of Feigenblatt and the presentation of the 2025 "Baron of Braemar Awards" for excellence in a range of fields.

The Session concluded with the signature of the Quito Declaration of the House of Feigenblatt on the Future of Education.
